Our History

Bellefontaines’ Jewellers was started in November 1946 by Dennis Dieu de Bellefontaine. Dennis’ son, Gary Dieu de Bellefontaine, and his wife Mary are currently directors of the business. As we look to the future, Bellefontaines’ are now proud to present the third generation of Bellefontaines, Michael, William and Henry. They are currently being trained as they work within the shop. If for any reason they are unable to answer all of your questions, please do not hesitate to ask to see Mary and she will be very happy to advise you personally.

We carry out watch and clock repairs, valuations, jewellery repairs and manufacture. The vast majority of our repair work is carried out on-site in our workshops.

We are an accredited service centre for Tag Heuer, Omega, Longines and Rado watches.

Very occasionally, we use outworkers for certain specialised work, of which you will be advised of if this is necessary.
